We hired Boyce Renovations to finish the basement in our home. The house was built in 1995 and the basement was completely unfinished with concrete flooring and exposed concrete walls. We wanted framing, carpet, a storage room, an exercise room, and a full bathroom installed. Boyce Renovations quoted us an excellent price and a 6-8 week timeline. Once work started on the project it moved very quickly. Communication was great, they were there on time probably 95% of the time and always told us if they were going to be late. In addition to the expected work there were some, let's say interesting, things the previous owners had done that had to be rectified. The renovation was finished within the quoted timeframe and it looks great. Final price came in at about what we were quoted and was completely attributable to deviations we requested from the contract. They were also great about handling COVID related restrictions as well.

I needed to take an unused space in one of our outbuildings and turn it into a personal workshop and office while retaining the look and feel of the original barn, and Mike accomplished this start to finish with total professionalism, craftsmanship and an eye to aesthetic details. When you walk into this transformed space, you can feel that he got what I was shooting for, and that he through his heart and soul into it. I wanted a professional who I could trust to oversee a complex project independently and to see it through from start to finish, and that was exactly what Mike did. He worked with me in the initial stages to refine our concept, then he established a budget that he stuck to and reported to me regularly about, and he communicated each week about the progress and updates about the project. He involved me in decisions when it was necessary, and I also trusted him to make the onsite choices he needed to make to keep the project moving and on time. I really wouldn't have wanted to work with anyone else on this project. I just can't say enough about Mike and his approach, experience and craftsmanship. He always went the extra mile. For example, there was an old iron barn fixture, and Mike took that home, polished and oiled it and incorporated it into the design. It really made the room and is such a cool feature. That's just the way Mike is and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a contractor with a craftsman touch.

Mike did a wonderful job building our dining room addition. Our 1950's home was in desperate need of more space so we planned a bump out. From day one, Mike was professional and knowledgeable. He helped us visualize our design and knew exactly how to plan and execute it in a timely and efficient manner. Mike's craftsmanship was meticulous. He takes great pride in his work and it shows! We were especially impressed with how Mike communicated throughout the whole project. He kept us in the loop in all matters and made sure we were happy with the work completed and planned. They were always ready to start the day with the supplies they needed and a plan to follow. At the end of every day, the construction zone was free of debris, neat , and organized. We recently had Boyce Renovations renovate our master bathroom. Although this home project had been on our wish list for quite a while, we had a hard time deciding on the right company to do the work. We hired Boyce Renovations to replace the wood trim on the front of our house with PVC material. Mike Boyce and his crew showed up on time and immediately started working on the project. During the work I was informed of their progress and was involved with making decisions when needed. Mr. Boyce was very accommodating to the changes that were made mid project.

Mike has been great. He and Mario did a wonderful job on our new kitchen and it was not an easy job. They had to gut our old kitchen all the way down to the studs as well as take out the old flooring which was glued down, then hand scraped the glue off the floor. We had gas re-routing issues, plumbing and electric issues, installing new lighting and flooring. Mike and Mario handled everything professionally and in a timely fashion. All the work was done correctly, and with great craftmanship. Mike and Mario showed up on time every day and cleaned up when they finished. This is the second time we have worked with him and we are looking forward to working with him again.

Mike Boyce does excellent work. He is a professional and takes pride in his work. I've had two projects completed by him, a complete bath remodel and building a screened porch. Many compliments from neighbors passing by. One neighbor who watched him and his helper every day said he would recommend him to anyone based on his work ethic even though he wasn't working for him. I am happy to recommend him to anyone and will use him again if I have a future project.

This was our third project with Mike. He takes great pride in his work and it shows. He helped us find creative solutions and went the extra mile to give us the finishes we wanted even when it took him more time and frustration. He communicates well during the job, keeps you informed on next steps, etc. We couldn't be happier with our kitchen!

Mike did a great job replacing our front porch and installing a new beam where the old one had failed. The work site was left clean every day, and Mike kept us informed on a daily basis of his progress. We have other projects to do and we hope Mike will be leading them as well.

He showed every day he said he would at 7;30 am sharp and would work straight through the day and leave the work site all cleaned up. Mine was a small basement room remodel, but he did an excellent job and I can't wait for him to remodel my kitchen.

Mike did two jobs for us: waterproofing the patio ceiling under our deck, and then installing screens around the patio. Both were done perfectly and without any problems We highly recommend him for any job you might have!

Boyce Renovations did an amazing job converting my cape cod upper eaves into usable (and quite attractive) storage space and also updated my old closets, and painted all of the house doors. Mike is the consummate professional, timely and is just a wonderful spirit! Highly recommend his company.

Had vinyl plank flooring installed throughout the entire first floor of home. Mike and Mario did an excellent job. Mike did a total bath remodel for me including removal of an old heavy cast iron jetted tub and replacing it with a walk in shower. He is a true professional and hard worker. We hired Mike to finish our basement. During the renovation, he was able to work through and reconfigure difficult wiring and lighting. Mike provided us with frequent updates and responded to our questions/requests in a timely manner. He stayed true to his initial estimate and accommodated the changes we requested along the way.
